I love camping up north and get to see these amazing big birds. Usually they are. at the waters edge but this day I watched them fly down and land in the middle of a cow paddock beside the camp we had in western Queensland which caught me by surprise. As they landed they did their famous dance and song together which had me frantically trying to get my camera out but by then they were just roaming looking for food.
