This is the dam that is on the Gordon River in Tasmania. Completed in 1974 it is such a wonder of man made engineering. We picked a beautiful rainy Tassie day to go see it and it didn't disappoint. Fun Fact - At 140m tall, it's taller than the Sydney Harbour Bridge and holds back more water than the entire Sydney Harbour.
